    Superb

Good location, nice place, very friendly staff, lovely bed! I liked the fact that although many problems occured, the head staff, most notably Mark and Tony, were not only fantastic, understanding and polite - but very generous in making sure we had a happy stay, and were treated very well.

Unclean areas of the room, and problems with ordering food, and waiting times created by a poorly run restaurant. As I've said before though - the restaurant issues were rectified very professionally, and generously.

    Fabulous

Location was excellent. The late Saturday evening (2.00am) bar was good and catered for almost all age groups. Good range of real ales and drinks in general. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Sunday breakfast was good "full English" - thats the way to do it. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Pigeons were a bit noisy early morning but it was Spring time.

    Fabulous

The bar and food service, though a little slow was good on the whole.

    Fabulous

The food was excellent and obviously cooked in a home-style manner.Staff were all very helpful and courteous.

There were no computer terminals in the hotel, although the manager kindly let me use his to check my e-mail. Also, no telephones in rooms.

    Fabulous

Great to get a family suite with adjoining rooms since we had 2 young children. Rooms were nicely appointed.

Main purpose of hotel seems to be as a night spot with a hotel above. Geared to young 20 somethings, not families. Rooms were hot but they had fans and management was proactive about alerting us to the noise in the street. Great for young people.

    Exceptional

central location. Large comfortable room. We were warned to expect noise, as the hotel is also a club open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. We didn't hear any noise from our room, or during the night.

    Very good

On the Saturday night when I was staying, I couldn't get to sleep until 2am when the music stopped, even though we were on the 3rd floor.

    Very good

The staff were very helpful when it came to extra bedding and suggestions re things to see and do and it was a very convenient location.

The food at the bar at the bottom of the hotel was not great.

    Superb

Fan above the bed kept cool without drying out like air-con does. Hotel and room had lovely decor, and very clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Ideally located for central Salisbury.

Be aware that it is a nightclub/hotel so it will be noisy. That said the higher in the hotel the less you hear. We stayed on the 3rd floor so it did not at all affect us.

    Very good

Staff friendly. Room clean and comfortable

Bar understaffed. Only staffed by one inexperienced young lady, who had no idea how to run a bar. I complained to the management who handled the issue very well

The room was uncomfortably hot even with the window open and the fan on!

    Fabulous

The room was excellent, and the staff were lovely.

They had failed to tell us when we booked that there was a disco on that night. They offered us an upgraded room and that was delightful, until the music started and the thumping kept us awake most of the night. We informed the staff, but I think it should be mentioned on the booking form so we can choose to go elsewhere.

    Good

It's central location, and leaving in the morning.

The ground floor internally and externally (rear patio) is used as a night club for youngsters on a Friday and Saturday night. The noise was horrendous until 2am. Then by staff clearing up untill at least 3am. The beds were hard.

    It was centrally located

Booked only one night thankfully, would you like to see bouncers on the door? I have a personal distaste of tattoos and most of the staff appeared to love them. It looks terrible, the staff, between serving congregated together smoking outside. The hotel appears very downmarket with fruit machines in the louge area, which I have never seen before. The room was dark and dingy, but I only paid £85 for the room. The best bit I have saved till last, along with the shower cap and bath gel etc was a set of ear plugs. It was not necessary to use them on the 3rd floor, but lower down The ground floor night club was deafening. If you like it rough, then this is the place for you. Ps The breakfast was awful, extra for two rashers of bacon and two sausages! All in all, the worst hoteI I have been to for many years.
